With the spaghetti coloring, my district grades on a 1-4 scale, so I explain to them that the more detailed and less white spaces the better, and most of them understand it.

If you say "show the illusion of depth", students get confused and wonder what the "illusion of death" is so sometimes I say "illusion of space" instead.

I printed & laminated one paper for every tool we use in every medium and keep them in folders divided by medium. For example under the "printmaking" folder, I have brayer, ink, editioning, etc.
